This is an authentic ceratopsian tooth from the Aguja Formation of Texas. There is no restoration or repair on this specimen. This is a nice spit tooth with a recognizable shape and chocolate brown enamel. Currently there are three species of large bodied ceratopsian known from the formation, Agujaceratops mariscalensis, Agujaceratops mavericus, and Yehuecauhceratops mudei. Since there were multiple different species of ceratopsian in the Aguja fauna, this tooth cannot be assigned to a specific species.
