    1873 letter by Mrs Susan B Dewey to future Admiral George Dewey  on the death of Dewey's wife that year.  In the letter she writes many verses from a Whittier poem which name I cannot make out but seems to "start with Seat at the..."  sending condolances to Commodore Dewey on the death of his wife.  Cover included.  From Dewey's estate.
