This 2004 Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black full leather interior and is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and all-wheel drive. Equipment includes a power-retractable convertible top, 18″ Turbo Twist wheels, optional power-adjustable front sport seats, automatic climate control and a six-disc CD changer. This 996 Turbo Cabriolet has 88,600 miles with partial service records and a clean California title. The exterior is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and features bi-xenon headlights and stainless steel tailpipes. Factory 18″ Turbo Twist wheels have recently been powder coated to the original finish by Riteway Wire & Wheel in Walnut Creek in 2020 and wear Sumitomo HTR Z5 tires showing 2020 date codes. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs with red multi-piston calipers all around. The hydraulic rear spoiler was not functional and has been replaced with the fixed spoiler kit and no warning lights are present.
The cabin is upholstered in black full leather and features optional power-adjustable sport seats with supple leather inserts and Porsche-crest headrests and Porsche-crest storage lid bin. Amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, stainless steel door entry guards with logo, aluminum look instrument faces, gear lever knob with aluminum inlay, handbrake lever with aluminum inlay, original factory head unit with navigation and a factory six-disc CD changer.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six was factory-rated at 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle.
The Carfax report shows no accidents. The vehicle has been in California since 2006 after originally being sold in Chicago.
Service history includes a new clutch, rear main seal, and slave cylinder replacement at 66k miles. Also, both left and right front radiators were replaced at 88k miles. The front splitter was also replaced in 2020 with a factory replacement. The battery was also replaced in 2020.
The exterior paint is not perfect, reflecting a vehicle with 88k miles. I have tried to show the following defects in the photos. Both bumpers appear to have been repainted and are good color matches. The right rear fender has a small scratch along the wheel well and the hood and front bumper have some rock chips. The front bumper also has what appears to be residue from JB weld along the splitter. The front splitter has recently been replaced with a factory splitter. The prior owner's spouse used a walker and there are some scuff marks in the door jam and on the back of the front seats from taking it in and out. Both mirror covers on the visors are also missing.
There are no modifications to the vehicle except for the mentioned fixed spoiler kit. The car also comes with 1 key.
Due to the pandemic, my job has transitioned to work from home so I am driving less and have too many cars.
Overall this is a great driver and I am sad to see it go and I am sure I will have another 996TT again in the future.
