It depicts a portrait of Lindbergh and his plane, the Spirit of St. Louis.
A Colorado State flag stamp (Scott #1670) was placed on the back of the bill along with another copy of the Lindbergh Flight stamp. They were canceled in Denver, Colorado, on the same day, May 20, 1977, at the ROMPEX Station at the Rocky Mountain Philatelic Exposition with a pictorial cancel depicting the Graf Zeppelin rigid airship.
