Antique Divided Back Unused Postcard 1907-1915 of President McKinkey’s TOMB in CANTON, OHIO. But, what is truly SIGNIFICANT about this card (no disrespect to the deceased president intended) is the AD in the lower right corner for a sort of TRAVELOGUE From a Trip Around the World With the ENTERTAINMENT being FAMOUS OPERATIC TENOR, ENRICO CARUSO!! I have NEVER seen such an ODD and UNUSUAL POSTCARD COMBINATION (photo of a President’s tomb with a CONCERT AD ON THE BACK!!!). Also performing with Caruso were Patti, Melba, (whoever they were - no last names given) and other great artists. Apparently they were all RECORDING ARTISTS for VICTOR RECORDS. Admission for all of this was a whopping .25 cents. Put on by the Ladies’ Auxiliary. Standard size PC 5.5” x 3.5”. This card is postally unused. In good condition according to postcard rating system due to corner wear, mild edge wear, and discoloration along the bottom and top of the card (barely noticeable). Back of the card has a brown area along the upper left, top. These flaws are not detrimental to the overall great appearance of this VERY COLLECTIBLE AND RARE POSTCARD AND PIECE OF ENTERTAINMENT/MUSIC/OPERA MEMORABILIA. But, please see photo and you be the judge. IMPORTANT POSTCARD SHIPPING INFORMATION: For single postcard purchases, you can choose .75 cents for postage, but there will be no tracking number included. This is called a non-machined letter and is handled in such a way so to not bend it. Please understand that if you choose this option you are making an informed decision to take the risk that should your package get lost, there will be no way to track it and I the seller am not to blame (in terms of giving me negative feedback). I will, however, refund you the full price of the postcard and shipping in the rare event that this happens. The other option is to pay .15 for a First Class Package with tracking. These are the only two options the post office gave me. On multiple postcard orders, please wait until you hear from me before paying as there are several factors that go into calculated shipping on volume pricing. Please do send me your zip code as soon as you can after making a multiple postcard order, however. I would greatly appreciate that as that will be a factor in calculating shipping costs.
