Styracosaurus albertensis.
This animal was recently discovered in southern most region of the Judith River Formation. It is from a Juvenile Styracosaurus albertensis. Styracosaurus from the family of Ceratopsidae has never been discovered in this area but we have been finding ceratopsian teeth for many years in this very site. This Juvenile was the favorite food of Daspletosaurus torosus. Another fossil found in this site. Along with Corythosaur sp. we are uncovering new finds that finally describe the species of the teeth we are finding. This creature is as complete as many other described specimens of Styracosaur. With this piece, you could write a paper on its morphology or house this one of a kind animal in your museum. Excellent preservation of the venus canals and original surfaces and horns make it a great study piece. This is not another one of the same, it is a one of a kind high value specimen that redefines the scope of this animals territory. This piece was stabilized with superglue. There is one unattached spike and the base of another spike. No restoration at all. This could be restored but remains in its as found state for study. Size is 14 inches by 10 Inches.
