This is a GUARANTEED REAL dinosaur egg from a Hadrosaur dinosaur. Most ''duck-billed'' dinosaurs laid their eggs in nests of a dozen or more eggs. Usually, hatching and scavenging damaged the nests, obliterating any trace of the eggs that remained. Occasionally, a few eggs survived predators and the elements, and eventually became fossils. Because of their delicate nature, intact eggs are very rare in the fossil record. Dinosaur eggs that retain their original shape and eggshell are some of the most collectible fossils in the world.
This is a REAL Dinosaur (Hadrosaur) egg fossil from the Cretaceous of China.
This fabulous egg is extremely nice and displays beautifully!
The colorful eggshell is wonderfully preserved and covers nearly the entire surface of the egg - i
t is extremely rare to find a dinosaur egg with this much eggshell preserved!
The large egg is very inflated and displays incredibly well on the natural pedestal of matrix. This is an extremely impressive dinosaur egg, a very complete, very collectible, and very displayable Hadrosaur egg - a great specimen for your collection, to display in your home or office, or for a unique gift for the person who has everything.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS.com is included with this specimen.
