    Description

This is an awesome glossy front tooth of a tyrannosaur! The tooth is from the premaxillary position, giving it the classic "D" shaped cross section. The tooth is clearly from a juvenile tyrannosaurid, but which one? Perhaps T rex, or perhaps from the controversial Nanotyrannus. In the past this tooth was identified as Aublysodon, as shown on the label, not considered a valid species now. The tooth has no sign of serrations, but that may be a function of feeding wear. It is completely natural, as found & in superb condition. It was found in the 66-67 million year old Hell Creek Formation deposits in southern Montana, Powder River County. Free US shipping.
