HADROSAUR DINOSAUR NEST, 6 EGGS, PREMIUM

Description

This breathtaking Hadrosaur egg nest is 10.75 inches wide, 14 inches long, stands 6 inches high and has a circumference of 47 inches around the entire specimen.  It weighs 44 pounds but the shipping weight will be 15 pounds more.  This specimen is ranked at 8.5 points.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  This legally imported genuine fossil dinosaur egg specimen is thought to be from a Hadrosaurid dinosaur and possibly the Saurolophus species.  It is from the Late Cretaceous period, roughly 84 to 71 million years ago, and was collected in Xixia Basin, Henan Province China.  Dinosaur eggs are often excavated from the bottom so that if the tops are crushed, scavenged, or even hatched, at least we still have a good presentation of the rest of the shell.  The rocky matrix that the eggs sit on is actually the top of the eggs.  This specimen was purchased from Eons Ago Company in 2006.
