I am selling this interesting scrapbook which represents a submitted local ad campaign for the movie The Lemon Drip Kid starring Bob Hope being shown at the Virginia Theatre in Harrisonburg Virginia in 1951. Submitted by the manager Ed Purcell. The book contains information and pictures of a number of community activities and and contests along with displays in local business promoting the movie. Great pictures of the displays. Lots of local 1951 business represented. Newspaper ads for the movie over several days are the book. Interesting  to see how much effort was put into promoting a movie in the local community. You will love looking at this if you love Harrisonburg and or theatre history.
