Original 1940's MERRIMADE INC Distinguished PERSONAL PAPERS Sampler VINTAGE Mail

Inherited from the estate of a family friend, this listing is for a vintage 1940's Merrimade Inc. Distinguished Personal Paper sample set  sent to Mrs. E. S. Frischkorn via USPS. The postmarked, mailed envelope includes paper samples, price lists, monogram examples, stationary size guide, plus so much more all for the potential client. It's incredible! The care and detail that went into putting this together is astounding. I adore the paper swatches but my favorite part is the distinguished playing card sampler. This is a wonderful piece of ephemera from a time honored company.
This item is in good condition. Please review all of the photos. The inside of the main pamphlet has a pink mark over the monogram on page 5. There is an area of discoloration on one order form but nothing unsightly. The mailing envelope is in the worst shape but it has done its duty of keeping the contents safe inside. There are markings on the front and back signaling it had been used as scratch pad at one point. Overall, the ephemera collection is clean, charming, and pretty incredible.
