    Attention DIYers~1940s Frigidaire Refrigerator~G
What a super fine this is...the perfect beer/soda fridge for you home bar or 'man' cave!
This refrigerator belong to my parents...who purchased our home in 1943...it got moved out to the garage when mom had the kitchen re-modeled in 1949...and there she has been until my husband and I moved her outside for photos today.
    Frigidaire Refrigerator ~~ Pc. 5855764 (68)-9-46
We stopped using her, everyday, about 10 years ago.  Always kept our party food, beer and soda ice cold. I put a 'newer' fridge in my basement, and we stopped using this one in the garage.
After we moved her outside for photos...we plugged her in...and she started right up! Light lit and she started to get cold. There is a ticking sound when she is running.
As you can see by the photos...I have spent many decades sticking all kinds of stickers all over her...should never had done it...but to late now! Sorry.
She has a pull down front handle...the Frigidaire badge is firmly attached at the top...and the original wire shelves are inside. The 2 metal boxes that would have been on the bottom shelf are somewhere in my house...I know I've seen them over the years...If I find them, I will include them. The glass tops to those metal bins are long gone, as is the little freezer door. All the original stickers are there, on the back and the inside front door. There are 2 adjustable 'arms' in the rear to keep her away from the wall to leave enough room for the motor to have proper ventilation.
On the very bottom is a tilt out drawer where potatoes and onions would have been kept.
She does need some love...she needs new gaskets on the door...I would install a new main wire and plug, if memory serves, she is not grounded. Paint her or just add more stickers...its up to you. I have even seen people wall paper the outside of these old refrigerators!
    Measures: 60 1/2" tall x 31" wide x 21 1/2" deep~~back 'arms' are 2 1/2" long
