Slingerland 4pc Spirit Drum Set Natural Vintage 1980's

From the early 1980's this is a 4 piece Slingerland Spirit drum set in a natural maple lacquer. Bass drum is 5 ply and toms are 3 ply maple/poplar. Black/gray painted interiors. Comes with 8 (deep) x 12 and 9 (deep) x 13 rack toms, 16x16 floor tom, and a 14 (deep) x 22 bass drum. This shows signs of use with lots of scratches, scuffs, and some gouges in the finish. Lacquer is rough and patchy on all of the drums. The toms came to us modified to be concert toms. The gasket that went around the resonant sides to protect them left a little ring all the way around the drums. Bearing edges are still in really clean shape. Metal hoops and hardware have some pitting and rust. Has a combination of original and replacement tension rods and washers. One floor tom leg is not original. Leg brackets, spurs, and tom mounts are 100% functioning. Batter side bass drum hoop is Ludwig. Both hoops have some chips and gouges in the outer parts. Batter side has some pedal rash. Inlay is fully intact on the other. Heads show wear, but have plenty of use left.  See the pictures for more details!
