Vintage Crosley Dishwasher Advertising Plate Dish 50's Housewife Feminism

Description

This is a gem of an advertising piece from the 1950s. The advertising is for Crosley Dishwashers, it reads " How About YOU Doing the Dishes Tonight or How About Buying ME a CROSLEY Automatic Dishwasher". The color of the plate is an eggshell color with gold trim. Black and red writing and a green question mark. Back of plate is stamped "S Warranted 22k" The plate is 10 inches in diameter. Plate is in very good condition for its age... no chips, cracks, or crazing. Paint color is vivid. One small section of rubbed off gold on the trim, located in the bottom of plate. Two very tiny black marks in white ceramic, as shown in photo. (under the green question mark).
