Paper Ephemera Poster 17.5" L x 13.5" W Treasure Hunting L or P Orientation
This poster came to us in a paper ephemera lot, a pile of WWII (1940's) Pilot Maps from Miami area.  This paper ephemera poster features "white on black on white" assorted articles related to treasure hunting and finding treasures of different sorts.  The articles are amateurishly photo copied in "negative" so the articles are in white on a black background, like library microfiche film on an early copier?  The orientation of the articles are jammed into arrangement, so this poster can be framed both Landscape and Portrait Orientation.
There is quite a bit of grunge on the back where it was folded unusually.  There is some spillage of a slightly gritty sort on one corner. There are two rips (about 1/2" each) and four holes. "As is" condition. Really cool piece.  Lots to read.  Treasure hunting related.
Put it in a frame in a man cave in the bathroom for interesting reading.  Think of your guests turning their head this way and that while on the can!  Lol.  The dates we see on the articles are 1955 and 1956. There may be other dates earlier or later. We did not research the individual articles.
We speculate that maybe this previous Miami located WWII pilot owner may have been able to use his plane to look for treasure from above? Maybe some other juicy story? Treasure hunting in his later years?  Treasure hunting as a hobby?
This item will arrive rolled up. But it was stored folded for many, many years.
