During World War II the Japanese issued currency for the countries they invaded, part of their goal for a Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere. They invaded
Malaysia and Singapore
in December 1941 into 1942, when they began issuing currency. The Malaysia currency series begin with "M" and
are in good almost uncirculated condition.
The
50 Cent
notes are brown with tan background and in uncirculated condition. The
One Dollar
bills are dark blue with a pink background and havea breadfruit tree on the left and a coconut palm on the right. The One Dollar bills are the rare ones, especially in near uncirculated condition. The
10 Dollar
bill is dark green with a yellow background and has a group of tropical trees and is uncirculated.
The bills you receive will be similar to the ones shown in the photos.
